The UK UNIVERSITY CHEERLEADING NATIONALS

If you are a University Cheerleader then this has got to be the Competition for YOU and your TEAM!  
This is the UK's and Europe's biggest and best University Cheerleading Competition!   

The Manchester Central Arena is a world class venue!. The venue frequently hosts the worlds biggest bands and hottest international acts around today making it the ideal home for such a prestigious event!

University Divisions

All members are 17 years old (on August 31st 2019) or older and 90% of the team are current students at the named university. 10% of the team can be past students/alumni, if they have graduated from the named university within the past 4 years. University divisions will be offered at UK University Nationals as well as our other events for the 2019-20 season. At all other events, University divisions will be combined with Open divisions if there are single team entries. Students must compete on the team of the university that they are a registered student at - they cannot compete for a different university's team.

For UK UNIVERSITY NATIONALS only, coaches will be required to upload a photo/file of each registered athletes official University photo ID card onto the registration system when they register their teams. ID cards will be checked against your team rosters on admission to warm-up to make certain that the athletes listed on the system are the performing athletes. When you register for the event you will be issued with instructions on how to upload each athlete's ID card. If you have alumni athletes competing who no longer have their student ID card showing an expiration date, please email fcadmin@btconnect.com with an attachment showing a copy of the alumni athlete's degree certificate, a copy of either their passport or drivers licence and a headshot, similar to a passport photo. We will then issue them with an ID card.

Please note that Future Cheer reserves the right to close an event early if we experience a high volume of entries. We recommend that you register early and do not book accommodation until registered to avoid disappointment. *Solos/Individuals are offered at Circus spectacular, Paris & Barcelona only.

Competition Schedule: Sunday 16th February - All Cheer, Dance & Stunt Group divisions as well as the Ultimate Cheerleading champion Round


Competition Floors: All Cheer Teams compete on a 54ft wide x 42ft deep sprung floor. All Dance Teams compete on a 50ft wide x 36ft deep Harlequin dance floor. The floor is laid directly over the sprung cheer floor to give the dancer's preference of a sprung dance floor.


Registration: To participate in any Future Cheer Competition you must submit the registration on-line along with full payment by the registration deadlines. Coach Qualifications are also required.

2019-2020 pricing 

Adult Ticket (12 years and older) : Team order & online order £15:00. On the Door £17:50

Child  Ticket (5-11 years old) : Team order & online order £10:00. On the Door £12:50

Infant Ticket (Under 5) £0:00
