Tori Rubin – Programme Director, Unity Allstars

Tori has been involved with cheerleading since 2001 and has been coaching for 21 years. After competing with and coaching Birmingham Pussycats at University, she began the Unity Allstars Competitive Programme in September 2006. Since then Tori has taken multiple teams to the World Championships thirteen times, as well as competing with them in 2009. Unity is now one of the largest allstar programmes in the UK with over 500 athletes, 27 teams and a power tumble programme. Unity have become the first ever British team to win an IASF World Championship title, and are now back to back World Champions with Unity Allstars Black having won in both 2022 and 2023. Unity Allstars is now home to five IASF Globes, having achieved two bronze globes for Unity Ruby in 2022 and 2023 in the Global 6 division, and a silver globe for Unity Blush in the International Open Non-Tumble 7 division. Unity now has six Worlds teams. 

Tori is the co-manager of Team England Cheer and has coached the coed team since its inception in 2014. Team England have now brought home 6 World titles. In 2023 Tori coached both Coed Premier and Junior Coed Elite.

Tori is a member of the newly formed Gym Owners Advisory Board who report directly into the IASF. Previously she was Regional Director for the International All Star federation (IASF), and qualified and credentialed coaches across the UK. She was awarded the IASF ‘International Coach of the Year’ Award in 2011, was inducted into the Future Cheer Hall of Fame in 2017 and most recently won the ICU ‘Cheer Coach of the Year’ in April 2018 along with Angela. She now speaks at conferences across the world.
